Miss Nicholls, 29, had been missing since 4 December. Her body was found on 12 December near Levington.
She was tragically murdered by the Ipswich serial killer.
She had been a devoted single mother of an eight-year-old son and had wanted to be a beautician.
She was reported missing by her family, who had become concerned after seeing the publicity surrounding the murders of Tania Nicol and Gemma Adams.
She was 5ft 3in (1.59m) tall and slim, with long brown hair.

Like others the events that happened along way from me in 2006, the five murders in Ipswich didn't have that much effect on me, I think as a human being you get comfortably numb when these atrocious acts happen. I live in Lancashire which is quite along way fron Ipswich. I became a mother in 2007 and now see the world very differently now. I watched the BBC drama and the effect it had on me was hard. I too in 2002 was in a relationship with a man who took drugs, I only took cannibas, but spent many a day in bed and know how easy it is to take the wrong direction in life. I got out of that relationship and now have a degree and two beautiful daughters. It wasn't easy at first when I left him, but I now know I made the right choice.
Annette looked beautiful on the BBC drama Five daughters and was so desparate to make her mum proud but she was on that poison.
I would just like to tell her family that Annette will not be forgotten and telling the story of those five girls has made a great impact on me and makes you realize how vulnerable you are and my two daughters.
I would just like to wish the family peace and good luck in all that you do.

I have two sons who live in Ipswich and I also lived there. My youngest son went to school with Annette so is the same age.
I watched the drama on the BBC last night.
This was just an insight of what happened to a beautiful young woman, I cried so much cannot imagine as a mother the heartache for your family and the siblings.
I visit Ipswich frequently and will always think of you and your family sending you my love, condolences and thoughts always.

Sadly I never knew you. I remember how much your death and the other girls affected me at the time. Now the drama on BBC has brought it all back again. I cant imagine how your family must feel, its really beyond comprehension. Please know how much your thought of even by people who never had the pleasure of know you personally. Rest in peace angel xxx

Can I firstly leave my thoughts and respect on here for the family and friends of Annette.
Dear Family
Whilst the case was on at the Ipswich Court you may have been aware of my family case on in Court 5. My niece's baby was murdered by his own father and she was attacked.
I am now campaigning & seeking support for Life to mean Life and for improved Victim and Family Aftercare, amongst other things. If you are interested in this I have organised a Justice Walk for March 28 from Ipswich Crown Court at 2pm. Thanks for reading this, I appreciate where your at because my family are on your side of the fence.
